This February, we want to show some extra love to our advocates. Advocates at Camrose & District Victim Services are on the front lines supporting survivors. For over a year now, they’ve had to adapt to a constantly changing landscape amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to finding new ways to meet survivors’ needs while minimizing the spread of COVID, they’ve had to meet both increased need and complexity of cases as the pandemic has created new and additional housing, employment, healthcare, and childcare difficulties for survivors. All of this caring for others, while also trying to survive a pandemic themselves. Thank you to our Advocates. We love and appreciate you!

February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month (TDVAM). This is an issue that impacts everyone not just teens but their parents, teachers, friends and the Camrose and area communities as well.
