Alberta will not be easing COVID-19 restrictions at this time. This pandemic has had a major effect on our lives. Many of us are facing challenges that can be stressful, overwhelming, and cause strong emotions in adults and children. Public health actions, such as social distancing, are necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19, but they can make us feel isolated and lonely and can increase stress and anxiety. Contact us at 780-672-4570 for support, information or referrals to programs & information to help you and the people you care about manage stress in a healthy way . #wesupportsurvivors

This February, we want to show some extra love to our advocates. Advocates at Camrose & District Victim Services are on the front lines supporting survivors. For over a year now, they’ve had to adapt to a constantly changing landscape amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to finding new ways to meet survivors’ needs while minimizing the spread of COVID, they’ve had to meet both increased need and complexity of cases as the pandemic has created new and additional housing, employment, healthcare, and childcare difficulties for survivors. All of this caring for others, while also trying to survive a pandemic themselves. Thank you to our Advocates. We love and appreciate you!

This is an issue that impacts everyone not just teens but their parents, teachers, friends and the Camrose and area communities as well. Together, we can raise awareness about teen dating violence and promote safe, healthy relationships. Find our more at https://www.verywellfamily.com/unhealthy-relationship-signs . #tdvam
