The Perseverance rover landed on Mars today after almost seven months travelling from Earth. Next Intent, one of our great GibbsCAM customers has been involved ...in all three Mars Rover Missions. Check out what they have done...... The part is 2" x 16" x 34" and the left side of the part is where the Rover will store some of the samples from the drilling operations. Many of the vertical walls are undercut ("T" shaped), which required using reduced shank cutters to mill the undercut. Finish passes required about 110 tools per side.
