Have you visited a nonprofit food service hub in the City of Vancouver to get food more than once before, and more than once during, the COVID-19 crisis? Are you someone 19 years old or older? If you answered yes to both questions, check out this 15 to 20-minute online survey developed by researchers at SFU to help us better understand issues around public transportation and access to food in the City of Vancouver. http://bcpovertyreduction.ca//getting-around-to-feed-ours/

Did you know that if you text "Home" to 741741 when you are feeling depressed, sad, or going through any kind of emotional crisis, a crisis counselor will text you back immediately and continue to text with you? This is the Crisis Text Line. Many people, especially younger ones, prefer text to talking on the phone. It's a free service to anyone - teens and adults - who live in the US. or Canada. Depression is real, you are not alone. #youAREloved #youAREenough #youareNOTalone If you would like to join me in raising awareness for mental illness copy and paste (not share). Many people are struggling and you can be the needed light.
