Vancouver talent search searching for hilarious improv actors with the ability to chat, joke, puppet, sing and interact with live-online audiences in a whole new way! The show is targeted at families, in keeping with the game, My Singing Monsters, whose audience is an all ages group including both male and female adults. I'm looking for three actors, must be able to record weekly in Vancouver. Age, gender, ethnicity - all unimportant (but need to be adults - 18+ please). Nort...h American Accent please - but voices can be totally cartoony/monstery. Think the Muppet Show meets The Tonight Show! Actors will be performing as singing monsters! Records will be weekly with a rehearsal and a loose script, but lots of room to improvise. Characters are singing monsters, so talent must be willing/able to sing in character. Here's what I need: Pom-Pom: Plant Island's optimistic "Prime Maestro" and HOST of our show (kind of an Ellie Kemper-type-character in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) - sings and uses their pom poms like shakers Mammott: The deep-voiced announcer and sidekick of the show (sort of a Seth Rogan/Jim Gaffigan-type-character with a deeper voice) - sings with a deep bass voice Furcorn: The behind-the scenes, stressed-out producer (sort of a Ken Jeong-type-character... without the confidence) - sings with a falsetto warble, dreams of a chance for a solo The audition will consist of a video submission - performing the sides, AND providing an addition one minute of improv and singing. Submission can also include talent's resume/background and other clips of improv etc. Please label with actor's full name, agency and height. Rate: $5000 CAD flat rate - includes: 8 weekly records (8 x 20 min eps). Weekly records estimated to be under 4 hours and will include read through, costuming and record. Rate will also include up to 2 x 4 hr rehearsals before records get started.
