For the last several years, the Lord has allowed us to co-host a youth conference with Grace Baptist Church in Surrey, BC. It has been a great blessing! Normally it would take place this coming weekend. Obviously, many things have changed for all of us throughout this year. We will not be able to host this conference in person this year but we will be streaming it online. The conference will take place on October 16-17. It will begin at 7pm (PST) on both evenings. Sinc...e it is online we wanted to at least let each of you know about it. Our theme for the conference is "Strong in the Lord" taken from Ephesians 6:10. No doubt, this year has been very hard on the spiritual strength and stability of many of us personally and possibly even more so for the teens of our churches. The desire we have in this conference is to somehow encourage the teens of Canada especially, to grow stronger in the Lord and walk in His light in this very dark world. Our preacher this year will be Pastor Stuart Mason of Timberline Baptist Church in Sherwood, Oregon. Pastor Mason has been in ministry for over 35 years and we believe God will use him to be an encouragement. Would you please consider having your church involved in this conference? The two services will be streamed through our church website, Facebook, YouTube, and Vimeo. Even if you don't attend or encourage your teens to attend, would you at least pray?
