If anyone is a true fan of the sport and you follow the numbers ... here are some interesting stats: The #1 and #2 spots are held by Ken Kupsch and Aric Alexander. 0.03 separates them. ... Ken hasn't registered any CNSCA targets since taking top spot at the beginning of the year. Aric has been quietly ripping it up this year and his next performance will bump off his oldest and worst score of 79% from 2019. As long as he shoots better than 79% his average will go up. He only needs it to go up by 0.031% to take the number #1 spot Ken's next performance will bump off his 2019 score of 185/200. If his next performance is not 185/200 or better then his average will go down. I'm looking forward to Aric's next performance.

Just a quick update on Blackmore Open. In order to be able to set targets for the next day, we would ask that everyone shooting Blackmore Challenge 8 on Thurs, ...please be finished by 5ish. Also, please be finished the prelim on Friday by 5 or so as well. We are trying something a bit different with target setting. We have 5 target setters each responsible for a certain part of the course. If you are free on Thurs or Friday after the shooting is finished and can lend a hand, please let me know. We could use about 10 helpers and it will all go really fast. We could even start resetting at 3 or 4 if it looks like everyone has finished.

Attention fellow clay shooters! It’s time for the annual ASCA raffle - normally it’s a gun raffle but this year we are doing something different - a Promatic Me...rlin wobble clay thrower. The draw date is fast approaching so we decided to do a Facebook post to sell some tickets. The tickets are $50 each and there are only 100 tickets printed. We are planning the draw for August 8th in Slave Lake at the Provincials. Please email me at [email protected] with how many tickets you want. Use the same address for the etransfers. Once I get the etransfer, I will send you back a picture of your ticket(s)! As always, the proceeds go to support junior fees here in Alberta. The ASCA thinks you for your support.
