Wonderful news that this has started in our city.
If you don’t have a tree yet come down and support a great organization. All money stays local!!
WOW!! Great to be able to look back.
Keeping everyone’s safety at the forefront, we have cancelled this years Family Fair.
Thunder Bay Country Market will be reopening this Saturday from 8 1 in a very limited capacity and after much careful consideration. Please read the full post... for the details, since this will be very different from a regular Market. Based on overwhelming support for local food and in order to support our local food producers to get their foods to you, we have been working closely with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. They have encouraged us to be open in a limited format so that we can get local food to local families. How will it work: It will be downstairs only There will only be food vendors. We will be carefully limiting the number of people through the door at any one time, so you may have to wait. We will be asking every person to respect social distancing both while waiting and while in the Market. It will be a one-way walk through Come, get what you need and leave again. Limit how many in your party need to attend ideally 1 person per family If you have a cold, or a runny nose or have travelled recently, please DO NOT COME. Not all vendors can or wish to participate, so we will be updating our website shortly and also list vendors below that have confirmed attendance. We are trialing this for Saturday, so we ask for your patience and we may need to further adjust our model. We are continually working with our Board, our vendors and our partners like the Health Unit and the CLE and thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this evolving situation. If you aren’t comfortable with entering the building, you can order many of our vendors’ products through Superior Seasons online system. They will have their pickup station outside at the Market on Saturday. Many of our vendors also have home-delivery options. We thank you for your continued support for local business and hope to see you for your streamlined shopping experience on Saturday. Please help us get the word out. See more
