Join the Canadian Oral History Association (COHA) and the Canadian Committee on Migration, Ethnicity, and Transnationalism in a joint pub night on Sunday, 27 May, at the Bushwakkers Brewpub, in Regina. The pub is located at 2206 Dewdney Avenue. Reservations are for 5 p.m. and under Jon Malek’s name. We hope to see you there! Please note that public transportation stops running around 6:00 pm on Sundays. There will be shuttles from hotels to the campus, or taxis for those who are staying in residence or hotels in South Regina.

Join The Archives of Lesbian Oral Testimony for an opportunity to develop your interview skills for free during a live Facebook Webinar on Saturday, February 24th at 10:00am PST. Oral historian Elise Chenier will provide a brief introduction to what oral history is, conduct a short interview to demonstrate what it might be like, and take questions from you, the audience. This event is suitable for everyone, even those with absolutely no experience doing an interview or studyi...ng the lesbian past. Our goal is to help you create new oral testimonies so that we preserve our past, to ensure that lesbian and queer same-sex attracted women's history is told and remembered.
