In order to help with the food crisis in Yemen, CRWRF has made a one time donation of $25,000. Together with, World Renew & Canadian FoodGrains Bank, these funds will provide emergency food assistance to the most vulnerable households in Dhamar Governorate. Households will receive a monthly food basket consisting of wheat flour, beans, sugar, salt, and oil. This will provide approximately 80% of their monthly caloric intake. Join us in praying for the people of Yemen and the work being done there to help out those in need.

We received an update from one of the recipients of nutritional education & baby supplies & milk. We are so thankful for the partnership in Senegal. "I take care of my sister's child, Malado, after my sister died two days after giving birth. Since I could not afford to buy milk at the pharmacy, I used the powdered milk sold at the store [cow milk]. Unfortunately the baby got sick and continued to lose weight with diarrhea from the milk I was using. A neighbor came to visit m...e and when she saw the baby she told me that she is part of the village committee and that she has learned the signs of malnutrition and these are the signs in the baby. Then she advised me to take the baby to the health center for treatment. The next day I went to Linguère and the child was immediately admitted to hospital. After three days in the hospital, the doctor released us and handed us a letter that I was to give the clinic. where I was treated with ease and respect. They gave me baby supplies and milk while teaching me how to prepare the milk. Since that day, I have regularly received milk for the baby and filtered water to prepare it.
