As promised, were continuing to celebrate our 55th anniversary! Since 1965, weve provided the centre of training excellence to the Canadian Coast Guard fleet. Today, we invite you to share your memories with us, as Richard, a member from the first graduating class of 1969, has done. There are a lot of stories about the starting days at the college, and, most of them are probably true. For example, the Galley not being ready in time and the cadets being marched off-site to... a local hamburger stand. As a graduate of Class of 69, Im grateful for my journey at the Coast Guard College Richard Theedom We cant wait to hear from our alumni in the comments below!
