The competition is open for any teams to participate from any part of the world without any age restrictions. 2. Carol songs should be primarily in Malayalam. However English songs could also be part of the carol as long as the main song is in Malayalam. 3. Each team shall have a minimum of 5 (five) members. 4. Teams which include Santa and Angels (dressed up) would get extra brownie points 5. Each team must have a Team Name and would have to assign one member in the team as the Captain. All communication related to the contest would be shared only with the Captain via Email/WhatsApp 6. Entire performance (all songs together) should not exceed 8 minutes in duration 7. Movements which are part of the presentation such as hand clapping, foot stomping and body percussion are allowed. 8. Participants may use musical instruments accompanied with the live Choir. Karaoke in any form shall not be allowed. 9. Props and Accessories can be used to enhance the aesthetically feel of the videos. 10. Teams should submit the entries in the form of live recording of performance to the email address or Whatsapp on or before the last date. 11. Tag Line of Cochin Club as provided by Canadian Cochin Club shall be an integral part of the presentation which is to be included at beginning of the Carol. 12. Tagline Canadian Cochin Club Sankadippikkunna, Carol 2020 il participate cheyyunnu. Nanjgal Team ___ , Captain _____ 13. Entries without tagline may not be accepted. 14. Entries shall be judged based on adherence to the rules & regulations, dress code, clarity of words, harmony, tune, rhythm, expression, discipline, timing and overall presentation 15. Additional weightage of points shall be given to the entries based on facebook likes. 16. The acceptance or rejection of any entries shall be at the sole discretion of the Organising & judging committee. No appeal on this matter shall be entertained. 17. Starting Date of acceptance of entries shall be 15 Nov 2020. 18. Closing date of submission of entries shall be 10th January 2021 19. Video shall be preferably in MP4 format in shall be acceptable only in landscape mode. 20. Carol team shall follow COVID Protocols 21. Cochin Club shall not be liable or shall not guarantee the quality of the edited or reproduced videos in any media 22. The decisions of the judges shall be final 23.
