This weekend, we held our virtual conference, connecting students across North America under our mission of AI For Good. We would like to thank all of our 500+ attendees for helping us create real change with artificial intelligence. CUCAI featured engaging talks from our speakers Laurence Moroney, Shivon Zilis, David Hayes, Ron Bodkin, and Inmar Givoni. Our panels discussed important issues in AI such as Ethics (Rishi Behari, Ron Bodkin, Valérie Morignat) and Women in Leader...ship (Caroline Lair, Ania Halliop, Shirin Farrahi). Showcases from QMIND - Queen's AI Hub, Western AI, P-ai Claremont Colleges, Carleton Artificial Intelligence Society, McGill Artificial Intelligence Society, UofT AI and our pitch competition with Inqubate (judged by Shingai Manjengwa, David Hayes, Emily Campbell, Dan Desjardins) displayed innovative student work, and we learned lots of new things at workshops with Google Cloud, DCP team, and bld.ai. That’s a wrap on Day 2 and CUCAI 2021! Day 1 of CUCAI 2021 is now complete!
