CDL is pleased to expand the CDL Map Series with the release of 12 new Wet Gas Index (WGI) maps! WGI maps can sometimes serve as proxies to indicate liquids production potential and approximate phase boundaries between oil, liquids-rich gas and dry gas. The WGI maps come from CDL’s Gas Liquids and Light Oil Fairways Atlas (GLLO, 2013), in which the WGIs for the C2+ fractions from gas chemistry analyses were calculated for thousands of wells in BC and Alberta.
