Canadian DJ Collective

This letter went out to members of the Canadian DJ Collective this evening. "We would like to start off by thanking you for being a part of our organization and setting a new trend in DJ’s helping each other with great deals and great insurance. We wanted to take a moment and address the email that was sent to members of the CDJA (most of the members received it today, some didn’t). It would appear that the CDJA is afraid of what we're doing here at the Canadian DJ Collective..., and has decided to present a list of things that happened with half truths, and some un-truths, in order to present the story that we were inept in our leadership, or worse, that we were actively attempting to harm the organization. Nothing could be further than the truth. Suffice to say, we don't feel it is necessary to go through a point by point rebuttal here. However, we do want to be open and honest with everyone. If any of you have questions or would like further information please know we are here to help. On an important note with regards to our insurance policy here are the facts: - We have been in contact with Erb & Erb (Don Wales) to create a DIFFERENT Policy than the CDJA has but still offer the same benefits with an increase in the required minimum equipment liability coverage you'll be required to buy ($5K). - We have filed our incorporation papers in the Province of Alberta to comply with the insurance company policies. - Erb & Erb are in the final stages of putting our policy into effect. So YES at the moment we don’t have a policy in effect, but for most members this isn't an issue because your current insurance policy will expire August 31st, 2018. - Once it’s 100% finalized we will inform all of you and start the renewal process, which should be mostly seamless. - Unless you have questions regarding your current insurance policy or an open claim with Erb & Erb please DO NOT contact Don Wales as he will not be able to answer your questions at this time. For now, if you have ANY questions with regards to the insurance policy we are having set up please contact Jordan ([email protected]) and he can answer any questions you have.
