November 2020 has been a very good month so far for our Humanitarian & Compassionate applications. We have received another approval for our Client! From our experience, we can tell that H&C applications are scrutinized by immigration officers, every small detail is considered in the decision-making process. The approval of H&C applications, in contrast to regular immigration applications, is based significantly on the individual nature of each case. By allowing an H&C applic...ation, the officer grants an EXEMPTION to the applicant from regular immigration laws. In making this decision, the totality of all individual factors is considered, including the specific circumstances of the applicant. Which is why we do not take these applications lightly and invest a lot of time into writing, research, and file preparation. Humanitarian applications are about people’s lives and rejection can often lead to drastic consequences. For this reason, it warms our heart that yet another family can have a good night’s sleep. Good job, team! #humanitarianapplication #successstory #teamkatkova #HandC #H&C #humanitarianprogram #canadianimmigrationexperts

Today, on November 18, 2020, Canada has held it’s LARGEST Express Entry draw ever! As many as 5,000 Invitations to Apply were issued in this draw. The CRS cut-off score dropped this time to 472 from 478 during the previous draw on November 5, 2020. Despite COVID-19, Canada has issues 92,350 Invitation to Apply for permanent residence so far this year.... Canada has proven time and time again that despite temporary COVID-19 travel restrictions, Canada remains an immigration-friendly country committed to bringing immigrants with various backgrounds, skill sets, education and experience! #ExpressEntry #ExpressEntryDraw #immigratetoCanada #canadianimmigrationexperts

In the times of COVID-19 pandemic, winning a humanitarian case becomes critically important, because it is no longer a question of separation of relatives, of hardship, now it is also a question of the very human lives. Many of our humanitarian & compassionate clients cannot risk exposure to the virus while traveling back to their country of origin, so for them the decision on their H&C case is literally a life-or-death decision. A positive decision means a client gets to sta...y in Canada with their family, and the value of such decision is hard to underestimate. Therefore, our office is excited to announce another well-deserved approval of a humanitarian case! We are immensely grateful to the Canadian immigration authorities for considering all the arguments that we put into this application. And we are overjoyed for our clients who have been waiting for this moment with a beating heart! #teamkatkova #humanitariancase #successstory #H&C #permanentresidence

If you intend to travel to the European Union in the nearest future, please be advised that today the EU removed Canada from the approved travel list due to rising COVID-19 numbers. In addition to Canada, the EU also removed Tunisia and Georgia. This does not mean that you can’t travel immediately because it takes a few days to finalize the decision in writing. Also, quarantine requirements for the countries in the white list differ depending on the receiving country. Canada-...US border remains closed until November 21. Canadian international border closure is effective until October 31, 2020, and is likely to be extended further into November. On the bright side, Canada might even issue more Express Entry invitations this year in comparison with the previous year. The country also remains resolute to admit 351,000 immigrants in 2021. Stay tuned for further updates! #immigrationnews #immigrationbulletin #canadianborders #immigratetocanada

We got these amazing flowers from a happy client whose long parental sponsorship story has finally come to an end. The story started many years ago when we were not involved with the case just yet. There was a medical inadmissibility that temporarily prevented our clients, an amazing couple, to come to Canada to their children earlier. Once the inadmissibility was overcome, there were mistakes in the client’s confirmation of permanent resident document (COPR). And the client...s came to us. We helped fix that problem and fixing was not easy. And then we led the clients until the case was successfully completed. And a few days ago, finally, our clients arrived in Toronto Pearson airport, and then they headed home to celebrate their long-awaited reunion. On their way home, they stopped by our office and presented these flowers to our team. We absolutely love them! And we are ecstatic that the long journey for our clients is over and they can start exploring their new life in Canada! #successstory #teamkatkova #parentalsponsorship #immigratetocanada #canadianimmigrationexperts #jk

On October 14, 2020, the Government of Canada held an Express Entry draw inviting 4,500 candidates to apply for permanent residence. The cut-off score of the Comprehensive Ranking System remained at the same level of 471 points as at the previous draw on September 30, 2020. This was an all-program draw covering all three programs the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).... This year, the CRS score in the all-program draws has remained mostly above 470 points. The previous CEC-specific draw on August 20, 2020 saw the score of 454 points, and FSTP-specific draw on August 6, 2020 the score of 415. Remember, there are multiple ways to raise your CRS score. They are not easy but doable. Work on your language scores, get Canadian education and work experience, secure a job offer in Canada, get a provincial nomination this and other tools can raise your points quite high. An interesting component of the CRS system is Skill Transferability Factors which represent a combination of factors and can bring you additional 100 points. And keep in mind, every year you lose from 5 to 11 points depending on your age and family composition. #expressentry #EE #CRS #immigratetocanada #teamkatkova #JK #canadianimmigrationexperts #expressentrydraw
