University majors (and most courses) reflect the internal structure of departments. This structure is all but meaningless to everyone outside it, including students. Majors, programs, and courses should reflect reality--such an approach would demonstrate incontrovertibly that #LiberalArts & #Humanities are both relevant and engrossing.

"ADHD is not a disorder, the study authors argue. Rather it is an evolutionary mismatch to the modern learning environment we have constructed." Our entire approach to education is maladapted, up to and including shunting aside the #LiberalArts & #Humanities in favor of #STEM.

Reading this, it's clear that #LiberalArts education needs little rethinking, though a substantial tune-up seems in order. The institutions that deliver such education, however, manifestly need a major overhaul.

The #LiberalArts & #Humanities neither force nor guarantee any specific job or career. They enhance effective for all jobs and within any career.

An opportunity to make a concrete difference for the #LiberalArts and #Humanities!

Online courses can provide some real learning, but cannot cover the scope necessary for a full and proper education.

ALL university graduates are job-ready. (That's why the B.A. is required for so many jobs.) This plan will simply push poorer students away from focusing on whatever subject they care about most.
