Donka and her sister-in-law Srebra are one of the first women to become members of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization against Ottoman rule in Macedonia. Donka was not just a soldier in the Illinden Uprising, but she also fought in the Balkan Wars and WWI. For her heroism, she was awarded medals for courage ...III and IV orders. To all women, past to present we salute you #MacedonianHistory #MacedonianWomen #InternationalWomensDay
