Today is the day! The survey is launched! Click here https://bit.ly/31mTMAk to add your voice to this important survey that aims to better understand the impact... of the pandemic on the teaching of singing in K-12 school music education in Canada. This survey is for music educators. We know the burden of teaching through a pandemic and advocating for your students is a heavy load to bear. We aim to provide survey results that will help you in your advocacy efforts from here forward. Until then, we need you to complete the survey and encourage others to do the same! Please complete the survey (https://bit.ly/31mTMAk) by April 9. There are so many more trumpets out there than the Bb trumpet you might regularly see. They vary in shape, size, key, and all have a unique history! Bdr Colin W...illiams would like to welcome you to the trumpet family!

Creating a good sound on the flute isn’t always the hardest part! You also have to think about what your tongue is doing and how to use it. Maybe it’s too high ...or too low or just in the way! This is a challenging part of playing the flute so Sgt Grace Baker is here to help us out with some tips on flute tonguing.

What do you think of when you see a tuba? Probably how low it can play, right? It can be hard to hear what’s going on down there in the low range of the tuba an...d other low brass instruments, like trombone and euphonium. In this video, we will take you through some steps to train your ears to listen.
