Back on July 22, 2006 my band The Lost Chord recorded a live show with a chamber orchestra at the old Equity Showcase Theatre in Toronto. We self-produced the e...ntire concert on a shoestring budget of about $2500 total. Here for the first time is the full concert in its entirety. The orchestra was made up of students from University of Toronto and The Glenn Gould School. The film was directed by Felipe Rodriguez, and produced by Louis Marc Vautour and Cosima Grunsky. Last night was our last show at 9 Woodland Drive. In the last year we've had 15 events here filled with amazing talent from across Canada and around the world. ...I'd like to thank all of the wonderful musicians who filled our home with beautiful music. Also thanks to the many supporters of independent music who graced our performances. Without your support, these artists wouldn't be able to do what they do. Chez Louis was a special room, as anyone who heard music here can attest. I look forward to more shows coming in 2020 at our new studio in Moncton. See more
