It's time for the church to really be the church. There is no better time to be Biblical, and not try to cater to everyone's feelings or bow to man rather than God. We must stand in faith in the Creator of the Heaven's and the earth. There are now over 150 churches that are going to be open up contrary to the tyranny of the government in Ontario. Persecution of Christians goes way back. In fact, it goes back to the days of the first century AD. Christians have been hunted, mocked, ridiculed, enslaved, maligned, and blamed for many things that weren't their doing since the emergence of the Messiah following Jews of the first century. Alberta was the Bible belt of Canada where William Aberheart was the premier and a pastor that even preached on the radio while being premier. How far and how low has the politics and social society fallen in this province. Fortunately there are bright lights that refuse to give up their Christian liberty, and even stand for the rights of those who have literally told them that they hate them for doing so. "Shut down and shut up", they say, not realizing that they are asking for a pastor to abandon his call to shepherd the flock of the Lord, care for the broken hearted, and stand for righteousness.
