2021 EVENT UPDATE: Hello Ponders! Many of you have been reaching out to get an update on the 2021 event. At this time, we have made no final decisions on the event. We are currently taking a wait and see approach given the current Covid-19 protocols and the restrictions that are in place due to group size. While the actual games would not be adversely effected, the off ice activities certainly would be. We also have to consider the health of volunteers and Pinestone Staff wi...thout which, we could not possibly host this event. So what's the plan? We are going to continue to monitor the developments around event restrictions due to Covid-19. The Haliburton region has been quite fortunate to have had only a few cases of Covid-19. This may work in our favour if and when restrictions are lifted We are working on a couple different plans but a small event is NOT one of them - if we can't do it right we won't do it. We have set a deadline of late October at which point we will make a decision on next steps. We appreciate your patience...hang in there and stay safe! We're all hoping to #PondOn for 2021
https://youtu.be/Q4EoZFhlOT0 I was thinking about pond hockey this morning, and how things have changed so much in the last nine months. Looking forward to the winter with fingers crossed... The ice bar 2019
Happy birthday to our friends in the U.S of A!!!
To all of our Ponders, volunteers, friends and families...Happy Canada Day. #PondOn
POND UPDATE: Hey Ponders... we're still reviewing options for the 2021 event in light of Covid 19 concerns. If there is a way to host the event, we are absolutely commited to doing so. We're taking a patient approach right now and hoping that we get some indication that hosting the event will be possible. Hold tight and #PondOn
Check us out on Google. Check out our pics from over the years and post some of yours!

Hello Ponders. Many of you have been asking about next year. We are in the process of finalizing dates but we are also keeping a close eye on the current state of emergency in the Province and what that could mean going forward. Once we have a better idea of the path forward, we will be in touch to let you know our plans and hopefully jump start the preparations for 2021. Until then be safe!
Wishing our own Christina Carere a very happy birthday.

We're sad to hear of the passing of Glenn Springer. Glenn was an amazing photographer who was a regular at our event. You could often see him right down on the ice to get the best shot and often paid for it (as you will see in one of the photos). Our condolences to his friends and family. Here's a small sample of his work. We will miss you Glenn.
Too good not to share.
