Results from the first (and hopefully only) Virtual National Quiz. A huge thank you to the Quiz committee and volunteers who put this together. It was great to see members from across Canada participate.
** Message from National ** It’s Thanksgiving. COVID is shaping our new reality, businesses and organizations are battling for survival, people are struggling financially, physically and emotionally what on earth do we have to be thankful for? We have hope. Hope is the whisper that says it will get better. Hope is the shout that cries we will not be defeated by our circumstances we are stronger than that Hope is the melody that our feet march to as we move forward in ...our day to day lives, acknowledging this new reality and our personal trials, but not letting them crush us. The phrase we are all in this together has become the battle cry of 2020, a year of unimaginable challenge and unforgettable change. We do not stand alone. Although we stay apart to protect one another, we are fortunate to have technology that allows us to connect and interact. No one is strong all the time, but if we take turns, each being strong when the other is not, we win. Our circumstances do not. If we continue to recognize the need in others and reach out to help we win. Our circumstances do not. If we can be honest and genuine in our needs and accept the help of friends and family to move through this time we win. Our circumstances do not. We all share different circumstances, different challenges but the same journey. Let us learn from the last few months, take strength and support from one another in the moment, and believe in the hope for the future. Then, we can find reason to truly be thankful. Happy Thanksgiving Be safe, Be happy, Be well
Thanksgiving, what a wonderful time of year. For Pony Clubbers it means the annual National Quiz. While this year no one is travelling to Edmonton, dedicated quizzers will be taking to their laptops/tablets/phones for the first ever Virtual National Quiz. Good to luck to all competitors tomorrow and hopefully we will all be back together for next year. #virtualnationalquiz #ponyclubquiz #havefun
Another great online learning opportunity for members happening June 25th. At 1:00 p.m. CST hear Amy Millar talk about "How to keep your horses fit during uncertain times" on YouTube. Brought to you by Manitoba Horse Council, Purina and Winsum Equestrian Centre. The Youtube webinar is free, and there is Q & A time at the end to send your questions directly to Amy. https://youtu.be/WMvzhb4HXdU
