This view may look like it was captured by a flying UAV, but it can be witnessed on top of Green Hill Provincial Park, in Pictou County, NS. This is one of the cooler look-off points I've been to. Get an aerial view while standing on solid ground!
Tonight's Trivia Thursday shot comes from the coast. Where do you think this is? Beautiful drive in the summer months. Answer to follow soon.. PS- it's not Peggy's Cove ;)
This aerial view comes in from Malagash Point, Nova Scotia! This was 1 month ago, on November 16th, and there was more snow then than there is now! Let's hope for a white Christmas!
Another view of Oxford, Nova Scotia from lower Main St. on December 11th. It's interesting to see the river split around the parking lot near the bridge. There was also quite a bit of water behind the plant!
Who has ever stopped here at the little Newville Lake Provincial Park on your way to Parsborro? Definitely a great spot to stretch your legs and enjoy some fresh air coming across the lake!
This is the 2nd aerial view of Great Village, Nova Scotia. Check out all of the greenhouses at Lowlands Gardens! Bay of Fundy off in the distance. Happy Friday everyone!
Here are the aerial shots of flooded Oxford, Nova Scotia, on December 11, 2014. Rather impressed!
On this rainy evening, I give you two aerial views of Maccan, Nova Scotia, from yesterday. I've spent many childhood years in this small community, so it was nice to get back and spend some time there and get to see it from a whole new perspective! You can spot the Maccan Tidal Wetlands Park and the Maccan River as it flows toward the upper Bay of Fundy. Enjoy!
This #drone view comes from Southampton, Nova Scotia. You need to choose which direction to travel from here.. North to Amherst, South to Parrsboro, or East to Springhill!
Just wanted to send out a big thank you to everyone who has been enjoying and sharing the aerial views of our local area here in Nova Scotia. It feels great to be able to share images that bring back so many memories of childhoods and provide a flashback to the home towns of so many who have since moved away. Merry Christmas Everyone! -Matt
A view at the mouth of Bass River! As the Fundy swells up to it's high tide, the River spills over it's bank and fills the grassy flats.
Another shot from the along the Bay of Fundy. This one comes from Great Village, Nova Scotia! In the centre of the photo you can see the new bridge being built to span the Great Village River to replace the current one-lane steel-grated bridge currently there. Happy Monday!
This was also done today. This view comes from Moose River, Nova Scotia! Had to see what was around the bend of the river, perfect use of the #drone!
Today's view comes from Bass River, Nova Scotia. Driving along the Bay of Fundy from Truro to Parrsboro you'll definitely need to pass through here. Great place to stock up on fishing supplies!
