Share your experiences with us to help support access to new drugs for moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema)! To help support patient access to new oral medicines for moderate to severe atopic dermatitis, the CSPA and Eczéma Québec are preparing a patient input submission about patients' and caregivers' experiences with atopic dermatitis and treatments they have tried, including new oral drugs. This input will be sent to decision-makers responsible for advising gove...rnment drug plans about whether they should cover this drug for patients across Canada. Sometimes, private drug plans look at this advice before deciding whether to cover it as well. Please take 15-20 minutes to tell us about your experiences by filling out our survey. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JAKi-ENG

I often notice people whispering and staring at me because I have a skin condition. The truth is that I would rather you just ask me about it than talk behind my back. I didn't cause my skin condition and I have nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. Find out more https://bit.ly/3iSehwI #ShedTheShame2021

Some people look at me and just see my skin condition. But the truth is that my skin condition does not define who I am. I am smart, fun to be around, a good friend and have dreams and hopes just like you - I just also happen to have eczema. Find out more https://bit.ly/3iSehwI #ShedtheShame2021

Today we are proud to release our report, Scarred for Life: A National Report of Patients’ Experiences Living with Hidradenitis Suppurativa. This report is an update to our previous baseline report in 2017 and while it has shown some gains for the HS community since 2017, it also shows that there is still a lot of work to be done. In this 2020 report, the CSPA has identified 11 recommendations to healthcare providers and policy makers that will improve awareness about HS and the care and management of the disease and the lives of HS patients.
