"The focus of the judge-alone trial will be on Minassian's state of mind around the time of the attack and whether or not he is criminally responsible for it. "Expert witnesses, such as psychologists who have examined him, are likely to testify to Minassian's mental state."

Episode 75: Saskatoon Freezing Deaths. A Saskatoon police officer wrote this "Tales from the Blue Lagoon" column (pictured) for the Saskatoon Sun in 1997, where he described picking up an intoxicated man and dropping him off outside town near the Queen Elizabeth Power station.
