As the world fights to figure things out, I'll be holding doors for strangers, letting people cut in front of me in traffic, saying good morning, keeping babies entertained in grocery lines, stopping to talk to someone who is lonely, tipping generously, calling you by the name on your tag, waving at police, sharing food, giving children a thumbs-up, being patient with sales clerks and smiling at passersby as often as I am provided the opportunity, buying a total stranger a cu...p of coffee. Because? I will not stand idly by and live in a world where unconditional love is invisible. Join me in showing love, judging less. Find your own way to swing the pendulum in the direction of love. Hello Sister, I hope this finds you well and staying safe and healthy in these most trying and unusual times. This year has been one for the books! I have certainly had my fair share of challenges! And, yet it has been a lesson in growth, faith, and the power of the human spirit. Looking back on it, although it has been difficult, it has also had its blessings, and I am better and stronger for it. Upon reflection, there is one thing that has really stood out for me - somethin...g that has been a bit of a life-line when I found myself floating adrift in uncertainty. That life-line is a circle of trust and a community of Sisterhood that I have become part of. I want to share it with every single woman I know! This community is The Uncommon Woman Int'l. I am sure you have heard me speak of it, and if not, then this is the perfect opportunity to give you a gift, and share with you something that has changed my life. This year I became a Director for The Uncommon Woman Chapters. We meet twice a month on a virtual platform to connect and share with other women from across the USA and Canada. At the beginning of each group call we have made it a bit of a ritual to share what we are grateful for (and yes some days are harder than others!). Yet, even amongst the most challenging of times, this Sisterhood has been able to dig deep and find joy and love amongst the pain and sorrow. Our most recent group call was exceptionally heart opening as the members shared gratitude for the things that others had done for them in their times of need. It was so magical, and something that I want more women to experience. As the year comes to a close, all of The Uncommon Woman Int'l Chapter Directors and myself want to bring our friends, and loved ones together to celebrate ourselves, our friendships our success! WE DID IT! We made it through 2020! AND I INVITE YOU!
