In partnership with the Law Foundation of Ontario, University of Toronto Factor Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and the Institute for Life Course and Aging, CanAge will launch Powers of Attorney 101, a free, Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in Spring/Summer 2021. The objective of the course is to teach Ontarians how to be an Attorney appointed by a Power of Attorney for personal care and/or property. Being part of the focus group means you will review some of the course mod...ules and provide feedback on course content, module development, and resource impact. The focus group will meet (virtually) twice in February 2021 for about 2 hours per session. Each focus group will consist of 10 participants. If you are interested in joining the virtual focus group or receiving information on the Powers of Attorney 101 MOOC please sign-up at CanAge.ca/attorney before January 18, 2021.
