You’re invited to our very first Facebook Live event! Next Tuesday, May 5th (5 PM EST), join us for a conversation on the subject of book design. We’ll be joined by professional graphic designer and CanamBooks collaborator, Magdalene Carson. We’ll be talking about everything to do with book design for self-published authors: from book covers to ebooks, giving you an inside look into the book design process.... There will be a period dedicated to answering your questions at the end.

Our first indie author café of the year took place last Thursday at Café Shaïka in Montreal. We were a small but egnaging group and we got to cover a variety of topics: the difference between publishing and self-publishing, protecting rights and acquiring permissions for publication, the editing process and more. An exciting diversity of projects were presented, from a family memoir to a photography book and collection of short stories... it was a blast to speak to such engaging authors with such exciting projects!
