There are a lot of myths out there regarding mammograms and how effective they are detecting breast cancer. Here's a myth about mammograms that you may find interesting Myth: Radiation exposure during a mammogram can cause cancer.... Fact: Mammograms require very small doses of radiation, the equivalent to 6 months of background radiation exposure from daily living.
