HAPPY SPRING! We've been waiting for you!!

Today, is a day filled with many mixed emotions. While it is the 1 year Anniversary of being cancer-free, it is also my boy's birthday, my first love and heart horse, who grew his wings and left us, also almost exactly 1 year ago. I am so grateful that he was here through the biggest fight of my life, and saw it through to the end, but I was never ready to let him go. Welcome to the family, Bear-Bear!! Earlier this week, we brought home our new fur baby boy, a 7 week old, Great Pyrenees x Maremma. Even after a couple of sleepless nights of crate training, we are IN LOVE!! It's been almost 10 years since our last puppy!! We are glad that we found him while our older dogs are still here to teach him the ropes, and so a little of them will be ingrained in him; let the adventures continue!

HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY to these two crazy sisters (yes, they are FULL sisters from the same litter), Ariat & Moxie! We celebrated the day with a playdate and, of course, a photoshoot. They are both looking pretty good for 12 years

Our last session of 2020, all delivered, just in time for Christmas! Earlier this week, in the middle of all the snow/sleet/rain, we met up with Jade & Tristan at the Fire Hall to photograph their engagement session...and embraced the holiday magic

The only thing missing is YOU!! Thanks to the incredible Wild Valentine Design & Botany + Blooms Collective for helping to bring my vision to life We are now offering Holiday Donkey Minis in our outdoor studio here in Kelowna! Our first date is this coming Sunday, November 22nd! With enough interest, we may open up more dates as well ... Bringing as much joy as Santa (maybe more ), our fur baby, Eeyore is ready to spread the holiday cheer! We have 2 session options this year: 5-minute session, 5 images - $150 (much like a sitting with Santa, short and sweet) 10-minute session, 10 images - $250 (a little extra for the kids and the whole family) As usual, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Kelowna Food Bank. Back in September, we had to say such a difficult good-bye to our sweet Stetson. It's taken us this long to be able to share this news, as our hearts were shattered. While it's never easy to lose any member of your family, I think with her being so dependent on us in the last year and a half with her hind end paralysis, such a huge part of each and every day was gone, including the brightness she brought to our lives, from the second she was born. 11 years was not long enough, but any amount of time with our blue-eyed girl was such a blessing. We love and miss you more than you'll ever know...RIP

Happy 6 Year Anniversary to my INCREDIBLE husband. The last 12 years have been the start of quite the love story, and this last year was a true test to that story. With a cancer diagnosis only days after our last anniversary, months of testing and chemotherapy, while keeping our business afloat, a pandemic, losing my first love, Boo Boo, of 25 years, beating cancer and recovering from chemo, and all the other craziness of 2020, we made it to today!! After this year, I know ...our love can endure ANYTHING and I know that this man, will be by my side FOREVER. My ROCK. Hair, bald, or afro, he looks at me with more love in his eyes than ever. I never imagined a human like this existed, someone who was truly made to walk by my side through it ALL. Someone so selfless, so stoic yet sweet and compassionate.
