Candi King Art Studio

I started a new Tree series today. This is the first, done in watercolor, I'm planning to experiment with different mediums and sizes while focusing on tree species here in Newfoundland. This is a little different for me but after dealing with sickness for awhile, and then falling into a creative rut, today I felt like I had a breakthrough with this, so I am running with it. I want to thank everyone for your encouraging words and support for the past while. I'm almost myself again thankfully. Hope you enjoy and follow along as I work on this new body of art!

Hey everyone, I have been MIA for the past little while, so I wanted to check in to let you know Im still here. I have been dealing with some health issues particularly with my eyesight after a recent allergic reaction, and they haven't been the same since. Its making it really difficult for me to work right now, so I have been working in little pockets of time when I feel like I can. Today so far has been a little better so I am picking away at some projects I am working on. Hoping to be back to my old self soon. Learning today. Working through a book with projects and help on using procreate to draw and create art. Expanding my knowledge because Lord knows I am not great with technology. Work in progress, and I will keep you posted!

Just wanted to put a feeler out there to see if there would be any interest, and if so what you would be looking for? I'm considering coming up with some greeting cards for different occasions, such as birthday, get well, and so on, and am wondering if this is something people would be interested in purchasing? The cards could be done so that the text is on the inside to allow for framing of the print on the outside if one wished to do so. Cards would be a standard 5x7 and come with an envelope, and sold individually. Leave me a yay or nay, and comment with any thoughts or ideas of what you would be wanting if you are interested! Look forward to hearing from everyone!
