Congrats to Jimmy Kent one of our hunters this past spring, took the #1 SCI record book crossbow black bear. 21 6/16 We only had a couple trail cam pics of this bear and had never seen him before this year, so you never know what's wondering around the woods.

Getting the deer blinds in and the bucks don't seem to mind.

Now that bear season has wrapped up its time to get ready for waterfowl. These are fully flocked canvasback decoys i did up this last winter, they are ready for action.

Had Rick Kreuter in camp this year form Beyond the hunt TV show, one of the nicest guys in the industry i have ever met. He took this bear in the late season June 24 19 9/16

Took our biggest bear ever this year with hunter Jimmy Kent and my good friend Cody Robbins 21 6/16 Pending #1 SCI with a crossbow.

After 40 years of bear hunting and almost 20 of bear guiding this would rake as my favorite bear hunt, and i have been on a lot of good ones. Not much of a cameraman though, couldn't get the big camera working so ended up using my i phone which i apparently had turned the wrong way, along with missing most of the kill shot because was doing the guide thing and concentrating on the shot placement.

Hello everyone. This is Paulette (Fred's wife). Fred is off visiting his mom in BC, but I just found out Fred has been nominated for Volunteer of the year for Delta Waterfowl in North America. I doubt someone has humble as Fred will be telling too many people about this, but trust me, he is VERY deserving of this honor. There are 7 people up for the award and Fred is the only Canadian.
