Sooooo,,, it’s come to my attention, after 7 seasons and MANY MANY biscuit recipes being handed out, that there’s actually a huge error on our recipe. It says that you need a cup of butter (frozen and grated). it’s actually only 1/2 cup of butter. And here I was wondering why so many guests would send emails stating that their biscuits didn’t turned out!!! Kind of embarrassed for the error, but actually laughing,,, A LOT! We’ve given out hundreds of these recipes!!! Hahaha GEEZ!! So sorry

wow! the ultimate moment!!

Peter and I were able to pretend we were tourists on May 19. We took a trip up to Goose Cove (by St Anthony), St Lunaire and LAnse Aux Meadow to do some iceberg hunting. What a GREAT day!

And so it begins,,, 2020 LOBSTER SEASON!!!! A little bit of normalcy in a crazy world.

BRAVO!!! Its time for neighbourhoods to have neighbours again. Hopefully cities will be willing to go back to how they were before the likes of all these booking agents came in to make millions off of residents that can no longer afford to live in their own town. Support the little guy, book directly, many companies have the ability to book right on their personal website. I always ask, why pay more when booking through AirBnB? Who do you think pays for the fees brought forth by these companies?? Ill give a hint, its not the business owner.

When you have guests that are this talented, a batch of biscuits seems like a great barter option. I obviously got the better of the deal in my opinion.

Things that some do in NL when youre on lockdown. Me,,, I like my pajamas, sitting by my window that faces the ocean. Its way too cold for me still. Not a winter/snow person.

Saw the first boat on the harbour this morning!! HURRAY... Unfortunately it wasnt a fishing boat.. yet.

This iceberg has been hanging around Cape Bonavista the past couple of weeks, but this morning I noticed its moved somewhat. April 8th, 2020
