A message to all our friends in the CanGames community Given the current situation with COVID-19 in Ottawa the CanGames board has decided to not proceed with CanGames 2021 as it is unlikely that local restrictions will allow us to run an event of this size in that timeframe. We did consider delaying the convention, but overall we realize that the best plan at this time is to welcome you all back May 20-22, 2022 for CanGames 2022.... We will however keep the Cangames community going over the coming months with some contests (with prizes)! so watch this space.

A message to all our friends in the CanGames community We here at CanGames had been holding out hope that we could host you all at our convention in May, to give everyone something fun to look forward to once the current COVID-19 measures could be relaxed. Unfortunately, as we all know, getting through this situation is taking much longer, and requiring more aggressive measures, than was thought in early days. We have now been told that the Rideau Curling Club will be close...d through May. In the circumstances, we are cancelling CanGames 2020. We did consider delaying the convention, but overall we realize that the best plan at this time is to welcome you all back May 21-23, 2021 for CanGames 2021. We will be reaching out in coming days to everyone who registered to discuss how your full refund will be processed. If you have registration questions, please reach out to [email protected]. Our CanGames team values the health and safety of all our attendees, volunteers, vendors, GMs, and other members of the community. We wish you all the best in this challenging time, and hope you all come safely through this period. We’re looking forward to having you all join us again in May 2021.
