Thanks to Wendy McKay for this on our 25th Anniversary! I am a dog owner of many years duration having had Weimaraners for 50 years and German Wirehaired Pointers for 30. I met Sandy over 10 years ago when she worked on my Weimaraner bitch Yentyl at a demonstration of her massage skills at a canine trade show. I was very impressed by Yentyl’s relaxation during the session and followed up with later sessions.. Today Sandy is regularly massaging Yentl’s granddaughter Gypsy who was the #1 winning conformation Weimaraner in Canada in 2017. Sandy started working on my Wirehaired Pointer Bacchus as puppy in 2013 and continues to this day. Her understanding of his hip dysplasia and regular massage has helped him a lot and he remains very active into his eighth year.

Anyone who has been here knows that our groomer Ellie is a horse lover. Her rescue pony dropped a surprise foal on Wed. Unfortunately he hasn't been doing well, and they took him to St. Hyacinthe last night. He is a Newfoundland Pony, an endangered Canadian breed, so we would love to be able to get him healthy & add to the population. There's a raffle fundraiser going on, to help cover the costs.
