Good news! Following announcements by the province, we are happy to announce we will be opening on modified service and hours this Friday! As of now, we will be open: Fri, June 12: 9:30AM - 5:00PM... Sat, June 13: 9:00AM - 5:00PM We will post more hours once we get a handle on how everything works. Given the nature of our business. Social distancing is a challenge/not possible when being served. So for the health and safety customers and staff, we are asking everyone who visits to wear a mask . If you do not have one, one will be provided for you. There will be an increase in some pricing to reflect the added costs of doing business during these times. Aside from all of that, we are excited to be back to business and look forward to getting everyone those much needed haircuts! As always, we are available by phone for any questions you might have. We are now offering full face shaves with hot towels! Shaves take about 45 minutes to an hour. Appointments are not always necessary so call ahead or stop by to book this service! We also have new gift certificates just in time for Valentines Day! So if you are unsure about what to get that special someone in your life, our gift certificates are great for a relaxing well groomed shave or hair cut.... After all, love is in the... hair!

Great News! Our 2017 Christmas Wrapping Fundraiser for the Soldier On program closed with great success! Thanks to all of our volunteers, including: Kingston City Police, Alterna Savings staff, and Military and civilian personnel who donated their time to help wrap gifts, and to everyone who came in to have gifts wrapped. Together, we were able to exceed last year’s donation. ... Total gift wrapping donations and a contribution by Alterna Savings to the fundraiser meant that the Soldier On program received a cheque for $2,611! A special thanks again to everyone who had gifts wrapped and to all of our volunteers for their time. We will be looking forward to our next fundraiser!
