BREAKING NEWS: Premier Doug Ford has announced all public health unit districts across the province will be moving into a shutdown starting Saturday for a perio...d of four weeks. Measures include prohibiting indoor organized events, limiting outdoor public events or social gatherings to five-people except within the same household, implementing a 50-per cent capacity for food stores and 25 per cent for all other retail, prohibiting personal care services, closing all restaurants except for takeout and drive-through and prohibiting the use of sports facilities with limited exceptions. More to come.
Just a reminder that there is NO daytime burning from April 1st to October 31st!

Good Thursday morning. Easter weekend is upon us and looks like another lockdown province wide looming. Currently -2 dropping to -5 by 9 am then back up to a high of -1 this afternoon. We have scattered flurries on the go ending by lunch then a sun cloud day. Winds out of the NW rather brisk at 20k gusts to 40+. Clears right up and down to -11 we go for Friday morning, where we get sunshine and +3. Saturday a sun cloud mix day high of 8-9 with showers and /or flurries moving in late Saturday night. Sunday looking awesome with plenty of sunshine once we get rid of some early flurry activity high 13 from our local weather forecaster Scott Moore.
Good Wednesday morning, -14 under cloudy conditions with a dusting of snow from the overnight period. Sun cloud and mixed with flurries for the day especially this afternoon heading to -8. Our neighbours to the west again under squall watches from Parry Sound around the bottom to Collingwood. Tonight clears up somewhat for us and back to -17/-18 we go. A mainly sunny Thursday on tap high just -10 low for Friday morning hitting -22. Then a cloud sun mix high reaching a -13. Saturday morning waking to -23 with clouds and more afternoon light snow -13 for a high from our local weather forecaster Scott Moore.

Good Friday morning, 8 degrees with partly cloudy conditions and a little bit of moisture around. Dress accordingly today as it heads to 12 degrees under mainly cloudy conditions with some sunny breaks here and there. A cold front passing through the province today brings some warmth and wind conditions up to 20k gusting to 30 into the late evening. With the front comes temps dropping to -2 overnight into Saturday morning, where we have a sun cloud mix day and high of just 2.... I warned of a Colorado low marching in for Sunday and looks to arrive in the sw after 2 am and by lunchtime could create some lake effect white stuff in the south. For us scattered flurry activity gives way to light snow later in the afternoon and evening, timing still a bit up in the air as it will be moving rather quickly, high reaching 0. Light snow continues into Monday morning as well from our local weather forecaster Scott Moore. See more
