Nature Guelph is pleased to welcome writer and native plant gardener Lorraine Johnson as our special guest speaker for this wildflower-themed presentation. Plea...se join us tonight (March 30) at 7:00 pm for a virtual presentation via Zoom. Everyone is welcome! There is a lot in the news about the intersecting crises we're facing. In this presentation Lorraine will focus on some of the small-scale-but-big-impact changes we can make in the landscapes we care for and in our gardening practices in order to support positive environmental and social change. Bring your ideas and your questions for discussion following the presentation, and let's crowd-source gardening actions that nurture opportunity for people and the planet. Let's seed joy and justice with readily do-able acts of cultivation! Pre-registration is required to be sent a personal Zoom link by email. Please see the event post for further information on how to register. See more

This #WorldWaterDay we are thinking about how we can better #ValueWater. We know water is essential to life: for us, wildlife, and plants as well. The wellbeing of our communities, and the ecosystems that support them, can all be traced back to water. In 2021, let us think more about how to better value water as we work to restore and protect the environment. https://www.worldwaterday.org/
