Not sure where to go camping this summer? No worries! The Huffington Post Canada made a list of the 30 best places to camp in Canada and guess what? Ten of our... national parks made the cut! See which ones here: http://ow.ly/10xLtv Photo taken in Waterton Lakes National Park (#5 on the list!)

Sign my FAIR HYDRO FOR OTTAWA PETITION! I have started a city wide petition, urging Kathleen Wynne's Provincial Government to harmonize hydro prices for the 45...,000 Ottawa residents that are customers of Hydro One. These residents pay on average 30% more for the same hydro service as their neighbours under Hydro Ottawa. The time for action is now.. and I'm calling on you to help the movement! The Provincial Government has a responsibility towards the fairness of hydro billing for ALL OTTAWA RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES. This price disparity affects all of us in Ottawa in one way or another. Stop by one of the many locations to sign the petition or print off a copy and have your friends, family and colleagues add their signatures to the list for FAIR HYDRO FOR OTTAWA. Original copies of the signatures are required and can be mailed or dropped off to the following locations: 8243 Victoria Street, Metcalfe 110 Laurier Ave W, City Hall, 2nd Floor Councillor's Wing More locations to be added as petition traction grows. If your business or community association would like to be an official petition location, please let me know! For more information please visit my website: www.georgedarouze.ca/default/70 or email me at [email protected] I appreciate everyone's support and look forward to working together to make a difference for all of us in Ottawa!

I am truly amaze...d at how social media works in such a positive way when it comes down to the crunch! This is one reason I am a big fan of social media and feeling truly blessed to have great Osgoode Ward residents behind me! Imagine...in roughly 14hrs...someone spotted it and reported it! Hundreds of Facebook and Twitter followers work when you need them the most...again..THANK YOU Osgoode Ward!!! See more

Our truck has been located, and the OPP have it. Thank you so much to everyone who shared and was on the lookout. A customer spotted it parked in Ottawa and called us. :D

Our truck has not been found yet, but we really want to thank everyone or sharing and promising to keep an eye out. As an update, it was used to steal a snow plow and winter tires from a neighbouring business. A tractor was broken into and used to lift their company truck to remove the tires, and steal the plow. If you see or hear anything please contact the Embrun OPP.
