The woman known as the ‘Jane Goodall of trees’ is coming to speak in Windsor, November 3rd and 4th. Diana Beresford-Kroeger is a botanist, biochemist, author and the subject of a documentary, Call of the Forest: the Forgotten Wisdom of Trees. Her visit comes at a time when concern for the effects of our changing climate is extremely high. She will talk about recent scientific discoveries that can play an important role in protecting the environment. Beresford-Kroeger’s latest... book, To Speak for the Trees: My Life’s Journey from Ancient Celtic Wisdom to a Healing Vision of the Forest is now on Canada’s best seller list. Tickets for the Green Carpet event with Diana Beresford-Kroeger are available now at the SRC office, Biblioasis Bookshop, the University of Windsor in Essex Hall Room 3-885 and online at Eventbrite.
