The Canwood clinic remains closed for the week of October 19th to 22nd. Phone appointments can be booked Monday through Thursday 8:30 - noon and 12:30 - 4:30.

For those interested, here is a statistical report for the Canwood Community Clinic. It shows a comparison of patient numbers from 2018/19 to 2019/20. Please share, and be sure to spread the word to book appointments at our clinic.

Attached is the Canwood and District Health Services Cooperative 2019 Annual Report. For those who may not know, the Canwood and District Health Services Cooperative owns the Community Clinic building as well as the Business Center in town. The main project our cooperative has been working towards this past year is making the basement of the Business Center accessible to all with the installation of a wheelchair lift. Once complete, the library will be able to expand their space by moving into the basement. The initial construction phases have begun; however, we still have a few hurdles to cross before it will be all said and done. Stay tuned for updates! Thanks to our board member, Donna Lovberg, for putting this report together.

Congratulations to Camryn Amundson for being the 2020 recipient of the Dr. Edwin Blenkinsop Memorial Scholarship. Camryn graduated from Debden Public School, and is now pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing degree at Mount Royal University in Calgary. We wish her all the best in her future studies!
