Calling All Members!! For the purposes of completing needed paperwork for camp, Canyon Church Camp Association needs to have an updated list of its membership. If you are currently a member of our Association, even if you haven’t been active for some time, and would like to remain on our membership list we need to hear from you!... Your response will be considered as permission to contact you with camp related business including notification of annual or general meetings. Some of our upcoming meetings will require member's participation or use of a proxy. VOLUNTEER EXPERTISE NEEDED Approximately half of our camp was taken by the Kenow Wildfire in 2017. We are working hard behind the scenes, so we can hit the ground running (hopefully this spring)! We would like to complete camp construction and be ready to open our doors to host youth camps as soon as we are allowed. Construction will include the re-building of new buildings, as well as installing power, water, and gas to the existing and proposed buildings. VOLUNTEER EXPERTISE NEEDED Being a non-for-profit camp, we are taking advantage of the various grants and funding opportunities that are available to us. We need individuals who are willing to plan and organize fundraising events, as well as seek and apply for grants. If you, or someone you know, has knowledge in this area and are interested in helping us with the rebuilding of our youth camp, please comment below or send us a message!

VOLUNTEER EXPERTISE NEEDED We are working together with Parks Canada to renew our License of Occupation. They have given us every indication that it will be renewed, and once we receive it, we need someone with knowledge in this area to look it over. If you, or someone you know, has legal knowledge and are interested in helping us with the rebuilding of our youth camp, please comment below or send us a message!

VOLUNTEER EXPERTISE NEEDED Due to camp being almost 80 years old, our current wastewater system is no longer usable. Being in a National Park, it does not meet environmental regulations and is too close to the river. We have been investigating environmentally friendly alternatives for our wastewater system. The process requires the involvement of an ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER. ... Update: The CCC board are working a ton behind the scenes so we can hit the ground running! The rebuilding of camp will need to take place over a couple of summers, and we are hopeful that we can begin this spring. But first, we are currently seeking volunteers who are willing to share their knowledge and experience in the following areas: - environmental engineering, especially wastewater systems - lawyer - to look over our new license of occupation when we receive it... - construction and project management - fundraising and grant writing You don't have to join the board, but we are looking for knowledgeable individuals that would give us a hand as we need it!
