We are excited to support the launch a new, and free!--speaker series hosted by young Changemakers across BC! --- Join us on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 5pm (PST) to meet our first speaker, Tsawaysia Spukwus (Alice Guss)!... Tsawaysia Spukwus (Alice Guss) is the former Director of Education for both the Squamish Nation and Tsawwassen Nation. She is a Squamish educator and has founded her own business sharing Squamish knowledge. She has also worked in the Downtown Eastside and with communities across Turtle Island. We hope through this speaker series to inspire and uplift individuals with new information that will make positive change in their communities. We also want to bring awareness to important issues such as racism, climate change, and youth empowerment in hopes of breaking silos and reinventing our societal views. Learn more about Tsawaysia and her experience bringing innovative learning opportunities to all people through workshops, drumming, singing, dancing and storytelling through this online event. The series is free and open to the public! Register at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/changemaker-speaker-series-wit We hope to see you on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 5-6:30pm (PST) for some learning, sharing, and lots of great conversations!
