Capital City is now accepting new members for the upcoming year. Training will resume in September and we will be sure to follow all protocols set out by Alberta Health Services, Government of Alberta and Athletics Alberta. Please contact us directly if you are interested in joining!

It has just been announced that Legion Nationals is cancelled this year. Despite the cancellation of many of our big summer meets, our coaches want to ensure all athletes are continuing their physical and mental training. Merchandise sizers will be at Kinsmen Tuesday at 5pm if you or your athlete want to try on. We will also have a sizing day in sherwood park this coming week and a date at butterdome soon to be announced.

This is where you can find all your SWAG/MERCH such as Hoodies, Backpacks, Jackets, Sweat Pants, Long Sleeve Shirts, etc. in different brands such as Champion, Under Armour and others. You can order your gear in your choice of colour and pick one of two logo's based on your personal pre...ference. As well, you can customize your gear by putting your Name or Event on it. Add your last name to your duffle bag and never lose it again! Put "Thrower" on your T-shirt and show everyone at meets how proud you are of your sport. You can put your last name on the back of your hoodie or Pole Vaulter if that is your favourite event!!! We also have 3 options for bags and even a fleece blanket for keeping warm between events or for the fans to stay warm on windy cold meets. Online Ordering starts TODAY, November 9th and closes on November 29th. These date are set to ensure you get your items by Christmas. Great ideas to buy those you love some cool Christmas gifts for yourself or your Family of Fans. The online store will be available again in the early Spring, where items may change based on popularity. I will have the sizers available next week (a meeting location tba) to allow you to try on any items that sizing charts aren't available for. Please note that the Nike branded gear will be coming out later this month for ordering, however the standby time to receive it may not be until March or April. Nike has also selected fewer items this year, so our new merchandise website is supplementing this. If anyone is available to volunteer at the Last Chance meet on November 16th, please sign up at the attached link. At the moment, the meet is short on volunteers and our club needs to fulfill our volunteer requirements. Clothing Orders: This year we will host an online store for all athletes, families and friends to order the Capital City gear. Show your CCTC pride in the stands and on the field. We will be hosting new brands this year including Nike, Champion, Under Armour and Gildan to name a few. This allows families to stay within their budget and athletes to still get cool gear!
