Here’s an interesting image of days gone by. Can anyone recognize this building or any other structures in the photo? Hint: this doesn’t look the same today but it’s still standing .*edit: we think. There are some other clues in the photo. Contributed photo. #builtheritage #history #throwback #river #inn Nova Scotia Museum Visit Barrington
This was a wonderful experience to witness, despite the COVID-19 modifications. Thank you all for coming to show your respect for those that have sacrificed for our freedom.
We’re hiring!

Despite our posters, newspaper articles and social media posts, there seems to be some not aware that there is an outdoor ceremony at the cenotaph in Barrington tomorrow at 10:45. It won’t be our typical service but it’s still a wonderful opportunity to show respect for those that have and continue to serve. Please join us if you are feeling well. Masks are encouraged, social distancing is required. If anyone finds standing difficult for long periods you are welcome to bring a folding chair.
The Cape Sable Historical Society will host this year’s Barrington Cenotaph service at the Municipality of Barrington cenotaph on November 11th. We ask that attendees arrive by 10:45am in order to be ready to begin before 11. Wreaths for this service will be sold at the Cape Sable Historical Society office starting October 29th. $50 each, cash or cheque, during business hours Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm. ... As the 327 Unicorn Cadet Corps are not permitted to participate this season, wreaths will need to be picked up and laid by a designated individual. All NS public health protocols will and must be followed. Barrington Museum Complex Visit Barrington
