Good Afternoon folks, There is an outside chance that we can still put on Cape Breton Paddlefest for 2017. We are crunching the numbers and will open registration again until Monday, September 4,2017. If we have 20 or more people register by Monday we are a go, so if you were thinking about registering please do so ASAP!!!!!

Registration is $100 for the weekend and it includes coaches/guides, lunch and dinner Saturday, and Saturday evening guest speaker Jan Sebastian Lapierre . Kayak fest was a blast today. Rainy most of the day but if your doing roll training rain doesn't really matter :P

Had a bit of a different paddling adventure this weekend with my fellow kayaker Ryan Brake in Cape Breton. Both of us have been interested in checking out the m...eandering waterway of River Inhabitants and gave it a go on a beautiful sunny Sunday and it did not disappoint. About 21 km. This weekend ECO guides/instructors Adam Zita and Karl Vollmer are coaching at Cape Breton Paddlefest. Every year we have been going back to this event because of the people and the paddling community this festival attracts. Here's to another great weekend. See you on the water!
