Here's a flashback, Men's volleyball '85, Women's Basketball '76, and our 1991 Football teams. Our uniforms have certainly changed, but our athletes are still number one . Thanks to @Keith MacDougall for connecting with us and showing that our teams from the past are still in touch. Do you have any sports memories from your time with us? Let us know in the comments. #FromtheCBUvault

Last week the CBU family lost a beautiful member. Professor Dr. Margaret Dechman passed away and left a hole in the hearts of many. Join us in remembering Dr. Dechman and all she has done not only for CBU students but for youth in our community. Sending thoughts and love to her family. https://www.thechronicleherald.ca//cape-breton-universit/

Not only can CBU help stimulate the local economy, but CBU has also brought cultural and new experiences to our communities through international students. There is so much value in learning from other cultures. Corrie Stewart was featured in the latest Edition of Digital Distinction. His story since Graduating from CBU in 1989 is certainly intriguing, but you'll have to check it out for yourself to find out why. Read about Corrie in the latest edition by visiting https://cape-breton-university.foleon.com//edition-4-copy-
Did you know CBU used to have a ring ceremony for graduates when we were known as UCCB? Any grads out there rocking their graduate ring loud and proud around the world? Show us in the comments or tag us!! #FromtheCBUvault
To those who have and continue to serve, we thank you.
22 years ago, Craig Barrington, BBA’98, made a bet for $100 from friend and fellow alumnus Steve Eagar, to pack up everything and move to England. That bet presented Craig the opportunity to work his way up in London's bustling finance industry, and he hasn't looked back since. He has been fortunate to see the world. During his early years when away from work, he enjoyed travelling on weekend excursions across Europe accompanied by Steve and other CBU Alumni living in London.... Craig now enjoys life with his wife and two sons in England and of note, he did receive that $100 from Steve. We enjoyed talking with Craig about his time on campus and wish him and his family all the best! We will meet you in Cape Breton in the future.
