This is our gal Snow! We have a variety of chickens on the farm, from laying hens to silkies. While silkie chickens are mainly kept as ornamental and make great pets, they are also great brooders! They'll hatch just about any egg you give them, and lay a fair few of their own! #peifarm #chickens #silkiechickens

Vegetable Stand is open! Currently in the stand: New Potatoes Eggs Snow and pod peas Rhubarb ... Leaf and romaine lettuce Green and swiss chard Spinach Turnip Located at 15 Cape Road, Park Corner - The stand is self serve so we ask that you please sanitize before entering the stand - there is a sanitizer bottle on the right hand side before going into the door! - Produce can change day to day depending on what's ready in the gardens and fields. We will try and update as much as we can!

Did you know.. silkies are the best mothers of the chicken world! While they lay less than other chickens (90-120 eggs per year), they happily incubate other breeds eggs.. even ducks and turkeys!
