A tour to a winery and olive grove was great fun! Then on to Ravenna for some beach time and a look at the famous mosaics.

Lucca, home of Puccini. A lovely and very busy music-centred town. Two concerts here, at Chiesa di San Michele in Foro and Cattedrale di San Martino.

A visit to Florence!

Ah, Cortona. Great day for Cap Choir last year. Beautiful hill town. Hot! Concert right on the top of the hill at the glorious Santa Margherita di Cortona.

Arezzo, home of Guido who is honoured as the inventor of our modern music notation system. We explored the town and sang at the ancient Santa Maria della Pieve. And then to Cortona, maybe our favourite spot on the whole trip!

June 10 we were off to Orvieto - a beautiful hill town to explore, enjoy more delicious Italian food, and sing at Chiesa di Sant'Andrea.

A busy and fabulous day one year ago in Rome - two concerts, at Santa Maria in Aracoeli Church and at Sant'Agnese in Agone Church, and then a terrific group dinner at Le Terme del Colosseo!

June 8 last year, Cap Choirs sang at the beautiful Chiesa Sant’Ignazio di Loyola in Rome.

One year ago today was the Capilano University Choirs' first full day in Rome, Italy! Good memories!
