Win a prize today! All thanks to an amazing staff member here at CAP Canada. Helen will put your name into a draw to win a prize if you become a life changer (a monthly donor) to CAP Canada today. All prizes have been donated by people who love CAP just as much as our wonderful Helen does. She's not even in our fundraising team, just loves what we do this much. Thanks to everyone who already supports us. God bless. www.capcanada.org/donate

In response to the word today, there are many questions we can ask ourselves? Like how can we serve the impoverished in Canada? How can we restore hope and dignity? Well, thank you to everyone partnering with CAP, you are helping bring hope and freedom to those who are broken by the burden of debt and poverty in this nation. God bless you.

Watch out for fake social media messages. CAP is NOT giving away $100K grants. We are a Christian Charity that empowers people to eliminate debt; a non-profit that offers this service for FREE. No registration fee or sign-up costs. #watchforfraud #phishing #scam

Hey Friends, We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who could help us with some data entry this summer. If you, or anyone you know has a few days to spare through the month of July, and would like the opportunity to volunteer for a charity based in the heart of Hamilton, helping the most vulnerable in society, then please get in touch we’d love to hear from you. #CAPINCANADA

The monthly support of nearly 1000 Canadians is crucial part of what makes CAP Canada what it is today. It is what enables us to keep Jesus’ name in all that we do. We have the amazing privilege to partner with and empower the local church as they walk alongside folks on their journey to debt freedom. We are thrilled to celebrate two more wonderful families this week, who have realized their goals of becoming DEBT FREE!! Would you join the Canadians who support our ministry... on a monthly basis and help more families towards debt freedom? https://www.capcanada.org/life-changer/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YIHBsSHLFY

Many thanks to all the amazing folks who tuned in over the weekend for our first ever ‘Evening of Hope’. This digital approach was new territory for us as an organization. We were blown away by how you responded to the needs of our clients, our organization, and communities across Canada. Christians Against Poverty is the product of passionate faith, vision and commitment to the Lord. Over the years, the faithfulness and hard work of our clients, supporters, volunteers and staff have truly made CAP mean something to people whether they are in the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand or here at home in Canada. CAP is an active representation of a greater hope in the midst of uncertain or trying times. That faith, hope and love, we have is in Jesus. Thank you for being Christians Against Poverty.

At CAP a major part of how we guide people out of debt & poverty, is through our partnership with local churches. The local church is our army of people who show love and care to clients, and walk step-by-step with them through their struggle - all the way to debt freedom. Today, we want to celebrate the efforts of the local church in Canada & the crucial role they have of being the hand & feet of Jesus for people in their community's. To celebrate: ... Aren't they awesome? The pictures don't do them justice as they are jam packed full of goodness. We are so thankful for the way our partner churches always step up to the challenge and knock it out of the park for our clients and their families. Here's a look at more of the hampers that went out this past weekend for Mother's Day. Is it too cheesy if this is referred to as a "Motherload" of gifts?... #CAPCanada #pun #carepackage #church #community #mom

Shout to the folks over at First Hamilton CRC --- one of our amazing Debt Centre partner churches. Over the weekend, the church wrapped and delivered a collection of Mother's Day hampers to Hamilton clients. It's messages like this one - that make it all worth it! And bring something positive to our SNOWY Monday morning in MAY. "Thank you VERY MUCH for the Mother's Day gift basket. Every single activity item matches (my son's) interest, so much, it's like he put an order th...rough. Every single item will be put to good use. (He) already played with the fancy rubric cube, the airplanes, and the clay. Please see attachments, he made me a rose for Mother's day. :) The colour pencils are on my shopping list. The pencils and the Sketch Diary are appreciate too. I made the tea :) It is very delicious. Thank you! You brought so much happiness in the house. Thank you for everyone working on this project and for all people who donated. It made this Mother's day very special and unforgettable."
